Currently, we have approximately 31 active chapters. Regional councils and chapters facilitate participation at the local level and serve as a means of recognizing the unique and local interests of the members. The structures of all regions and most chapters parallel the national system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In place of, or in addition to state chapters, some states have \u201cstate associations\u201d of housing and redevelopment officials. State associations function as chapters and may co-exist with local or regional chapters.
