CONFERENCE<\/strong> HOTEL <\/strong> NAHRO CONFERENCE ROOM RATE<\/strong> HOTEL RESERVATION POLICY FOR NAHRO CONFERENCES<\/strong> Requests for reservations at the NAHRO group rate will be accepted for registered conference attendees on a space available basis through February 14 or until the NAHRO room block is sold out, whichever comes first. The Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel <\/strong>is located at 1000 H Street, NW, in the center of downtown Washington, D.C. The hotel is just a few blocks from the Capital One Arena, National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, White House and Washington Monument, and provides a direct connection to the city via the Metro Center metro-rail station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference room rate for NAHRO attendees is $349\/night plus 15.95% tax.<\/strong> This rate includes a $20 daily destination fee. To access the NAHRO rate, attendees must make reservations thru the weblink provided in the attendees conference confirmation email. Phone reservations will NOT be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Register first\u2026then reserve your room! Conference registration is required prior to making a reservation in the NAHRO room block. Once your registration is confirmed, your registration confirmation will contain a weblink through which to reserve your hotel accommodations on-line in the NAHRO room block. A credit card is required to make a reservation. Phone reservations will not be accepted. <\/strong>**Any reservation in the NAHRO room block without a corresponding conference registration will be canceled without notice.** <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
A credit card is required to make a reservation. All rooms require a first night\u2019s deposit plus tax that will be charged to the credit card prior to your arrival date and credited against the room balance. Room deposits are non-refundable for room cancellations that occur after February 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will receive an automated confirmation of your hotel reservation upon completion of your reservation. Please do not call the hotel \u201cjust to be sure\u201d until a few days after February 14 as the reservation will not show in their system immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Name changes, arrival\/departure changes and\/or cancellations should be submitted via the online reservation system on or before February 14. After February 14, please contact the hotel directly. Again, room deposits are non-refundable for room cancellations that occur after February 14.
PAYMENT OF ROOM CHARGES ON-SITE<\/strong>
Once on-site, guest room balances can be paid by check or credit card. If by check, checks need to be sent to the hotel (Attn Accounting Dept.) and received at least 7 days prior to arrival, as the check will need to be processed and cleared before check-in. Confirmation number, attendee name and conference name should be provided with check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please note the hotel requires a $50\/day incidental hold\/deposit at the time of check-in (payable by credit or cash only.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the event you check out of the hotel prior to your reserved checkout date, the hotel will add an early departure fee in the amount equal to one night room and tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NAHRO will not call you regarding hotel arrangements and does not utilize third-party vendors for this purpose.
