In Recognition of Extraordinary Service and Commitment, the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials Board of Governors Presents this Resolution in Honor of Ms. Sylvia Bowen

Whereas, Ms. Sylvia Bowen is retiring from NAHRO after many years of significant and substantial service;

Whereas, Ms. Bowen is an essential and enduring member of the NAHRO family;

Whereas, Ms. Bowen’s long-term service has had momentous and meaningful impact on a countless number of NAHRO members and associates;

Whereas, Ms. Bowen has had an integral and intentional role in connecting NAHRO members, NAHRO leadership, and NAHRO backbone;

Whereas, Ms. Bowen has been the caretaker, custodian, and communicator of so much of NAHRO’s history;

Whereas, Ms. Bowen’s collective contributions as a thoughtful, hard-working, kind, detail-oriented, dedicated, and generous person are unparalleled and will be greatly missed by the Board of Governors, NAHRO’s members, and NAHRO’s backbone;

Therefore, be it resolved, the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials expresses its deepest appreciation for the outstanding contributions made by Ms. Sylvia Bowen during her years of service in support of NAHRO; and extends its best wishes as she approaches her well-earned retirement;

Be it further resolved, Ms. Sylvia Bowen will always be considered a member of the NAHRO family therefore Ms. Bowen is awarded a lifetime membership to NAHRO; and

Be it further resolved, a copy of this resolution be entered permanently into the minutes of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials.
