Raise Your Voice for August Advocacy!
Today is the last day of August, but August Advocacy isn’t over yet! More than 930 advocates have sent an incredible 18,920 letters to Congress and the White House this month. Join your colleagues in sending the six letters advocacy letters in NAHRO’s Action Alert Center. Urge your legislators to:
- Invest in Federal Housing Solutions
- Address Housing Scarcity
- Expand Access to Housing Vouchers
- Increase Housing Voucher Effectiveness
- Preserve Public Housing
- Pass Timely, Robust Annual Appropriations
Why it matters: When you send letters to Congress, it lets your legislators know what housing and community development programs matter to someone in their district. Your letters elevate NAHRO policy priorities and motivate Congress to act. You are the experts on your programs. Members of Congress want to hear from you about how they should fund and strengthen affordable housing across the nation.
