NAHRO CEO’s Response to President’s Tweet
In response to President Trump’s July 29 tweet regarding low-income housing, NAHRO CEO Adrianne Todman said:
“While I am not surprised by this message, I am upset that so many people who live in, manage and build housing for low-income families had to see it. It insults them, their life, and their work. Unnecessary and hurtful.
“For all of you housers out there…keep your chin up! Your work is amazing and brings value to communities….all communities.
If you are a person of modest means, know that your value is not derived by how much money you make, but by who you are.”
