NAHRO Celebrates Homeownership Month
This June, NAHRO joins in celebrating National Homeownership Month.
“Homeownership is a cornerstone of the American dream and a way to stabilize families and build generational assets. While we celebrate Homeownership Month every June, throughout the year NAHRO members continue to work with our residents to help them achieve this dream via homeownership voucher programs, down payment assistance, supportive services programs, and more,” NAHRO President Sunny Shaw said. “We appreciate the administration’s acknowledgment of racial inequities in homeownership, and their commitment to pandemic-related mortgage relief, additional affordable housing, and enforcement of the Fair Housing Act.”
