Sylvia Gimenez

Sylvia Gimenez leads the planning and execution of the association’s communications and marketing plans, oversees the NAHRO website, social media accounts and publications, and acts as lead media contact. She also serves as staff liaison for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee.  

Sylvia has previously worked as a managing editor for NAHRO, an online news editor, a college instructor and a freelance writer and reviewer. She holds an M.A. from the University of Michigan and a BA from Barnard College. 

She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, their rescue dog, and their PS5.
