Congress is Back! August Advocacy Extended, Support FY23 Spending

August might be over, but there is still time to send August Advocacy letters. Send any of the August Advocacy letters this week and they will be counted toward our overall goal. Catch up on your letters today and help raise the profile of housing and community development programs in Congress. Send your letters by Sunday, Sept. 11 to be counted toward our goal.

The Senate comes back into session today and the House will be back next week. They only have a few short weeks to address FY 2023 spending before the end of the fiscal year on September 30. While they are expected to pass a short-term bill through early December, your voice is needed to remind Congress of the impact their inability to finalized spending on-time has on your community.

Tell your legislators today to finalize a robust FY 2023 Transportation-HUD appropriations bill as quickly as possible.
