USICH’s Executive Director Jeff Olivet & NCHV’s CEO Kathryn Monet Confirmed as Speakers at NAHRO’s Online Summer Symposium!
NAHRO’s thrilled to announce that United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) Executive Director Jeff Olivet will be speaking at the opening plenary session of our 2022 Summer Symposium: Building Solutions to End Homelessness.
Olivet has worked to prevent and end homelessness for more than 25 years as a street outreach worker, case manager, coalition builder, researcher, and trainer. He is the founder of jo consulting, co-founder of Racial Equity Partners, and from 2010 to 2018, he served as CEO of C4 Innovations. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively in the areas of homelessness and housing, health and behavioral health, HIV, education, and organizational development. He has been principal investigator on multiple research studies funded by private foundations and the National Institutes of Health. Jeff is deeply committed to social justice, racial equity, gender equality, and inclusion for all. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree from Boston College.
NAHRO’s delighted to announce that the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) CEO Kathryn Monet will be joining a panel of other industry experts talking about how homelessness manifests itself throughout different communities.
Monet has served as CEO of NCHV for more than five years, focusing on expanding the organization’s strategic policy and partnerships to end veteran homelessness more effectively. She has spent a decade in the public and non-profit sector working to address housing instability and homelessness among Veterans. Prior to joining NCHV, she was with the National Alliance to End Homelessness focusing on the promotion of data-driven, evidence-based interventions to end homelessness, particularly among Veterans. Monet was also involved in veteran homelessness in a legislative capacity during her time at the Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs. She earned a Master’s in Public Administration from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University.
