Commissioners’ Guide to Monitoring and Oversight Seminar

NAHRO Professional Development is offering Washington Conference registrants a special pre-conference opportunity to attend a NAHRO professional development seminar, Commissioners’ Guide to Monitoring and Oversight.

This special seminar offering is only available as part of conference registration, at a discounted add-on fee.

Registration cost for seminar is $360 (in addition to the conference registration fee.)  Pre-registration is required and space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. A waiting list will not be maintained.

Seminar Schedule:
Day 1 – Sunday, March 9: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Day 2 – Monday, March 10: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Commissioners’ Guide to Monitoring and Oversight
Presenter: Jim Inglis, NAHRO Faculty
This class is perfect for you if you have completed NAHRO’s Commissioners’ Fundamentals or are looking for recertification opportunities for the NAHRO Certified Commissioner (NCC) certification. Take a deeper dive into the monitoring and oversight functions of housing agencies. You’ll enhance your understanding of agency programs, policies, and budgets, while you learn more about ensuring your agency is on the right track and helping your agency achieve its mission and goals. This course covers the importance of a commissioners’ involvement in strategic planning and the benefits this activity has in shaping the future of the agency and its ability to meet the unique needs of their community. Join us to build your skills and comfort with all those acronyms and complex things going on in your agency.
