Deadline Extended: NPDS Certification Requirements
Non-NAHRO Education & Assessments Recognition
With the high level of interest generated by the new NAHRO Professional Development System (NPDS), the deadline whereby non-NAHRO assessments and education is applied toward NPDS certification requirements is extended to July 31, 2010.
This one-time extension now gives candidates additional time to complete their certification requirements and still meet NPDS criteria. Under this expanded window of opportunity, certification candidates will continue to be able to apply both education and assessments earned through any nationally recognized affordable housing education provider toward their NPDS certification.
For many individuals who are nearing completion of their certification requirements, but have been unable to do so because of time or fiscal constraints, this extension provides one final opportunity before new criteria recognizing NAHRO-only assessments takes effect beginning August 1, 2010.
For its part, NAHRO will offer candidates ample opportunity in the coming months to select from a comprehensive agenda of courses, dates, and locations—all conveniently scheduled to enable them to fulfill their NPDS requirements and attain full certification status |
